This is the official website for Auburn Cruise Nite, Auburn, California.  This event is free to the participants and to the viewers.  We appreciate it when you shop at our sponsors.  Please let them know you saw their name at Cruise Nite or on this website.

Check out the different pages.  We are posting new information all the time.

WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS.  You don’t have to have a vintage, classic or hot rod.  Just have a love for cars.  Most of the volunteer time is on cruise nite.  Helping park cars, answering questions, keeping the area neat and clean.  Nothing is hard.  We have a great group of guys and gals.  Please come join us.

Is the cruise night still happening Friday night 9th ?

    • Yes, Cruise Nite will happen tomorrow night Sept 9th. We have been discussing if it should be cancelled because of the heat and the air quality but with such short notice and no way to get the word out, we decided to have the event as scheduled. Please make the decision to come or not on your own personal criteria.

Are there any plans to restart cruise night for 2021?

    • We are working on it. Bob met with the City of Auburn last week and was told the decision will need to be made by the health department. We are hopeful that by mid summer we may be able to be up and running again. Keep your fingers crossed and stay healthy so Placer County can start moving into the red and onto the orange tiers.

Do I need to pre register my car for this event ?

    • There is no entry fee, just show up. We expect a big turn out for September. It will be our last of the season and we will also be having a 9-11 ceremony. You may want to come before 4 pm. If you do, please park in the regular parking spots until you are instructed by one of your volunteers that it is your turn to turn you car. They are the people in the yellow vests. We invite you to come and enjoy our downtown. If you do come early, you MUST be back to you car no later than 4 pm.

I went to the last night of the 2018 season and I want to thank you for an amazing event. My friends had told me about the cruise night but I was not sure my car was up for the challenge. I have a 1965 convertible mustang that was my moms and while I restored it, I wasn’t sure how it would be at a car show. I had the best time and the volunteers are amazing . I will make sure that this will be on my calendar for the 2019 season and thank you for one of the best nights of my summer. Thank you for a great experience.

    • So glad you decided to come. Sometimes we are own worst critiques. We love to see cars in all conditions. It give the crowd a sense of what these cars start out looking like. We love our volunteers. They are awesome and we couldn’t have this event without them. Looking forward to seeing you next May.
