September will be our last cruise for the season. Hope you can make it. We will be having our Sept 11 remembrance ceremony
We had a lower turn out this month. Not sure if it was the overcast sky, high humidity, or people on vacation. But those that came had a great time.
We have had to make some changes in the time we start turning the cars. We have been starting at 4 at the top of the hill but have had to delay it until 4:30. If you are bringing a car, please wait until one of our volunteers tells you it is your turn. This makes for far less confusion.
Randy for the Roamin” Angles car club assisted us this month by choosing the lucky winners.
Best Truck – Gerry & Kim Ortiz from Roseville
Best Stock – Duane Lewis from Newcastle
Best Modified – John Massey from Auburn
Next month will be Hot August Nights in Reno. If you can’t get up there, please join us.
We had another beautiful night with just under 300 cars. We would like to thank the Poor Boys Car Club for picking the winners and presenting the trophies.

Wow, did we have a great turn out or what. The weather was nice even though it was a bit breezy. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. We decided to eliminate the Best Modified-Stock category and add Best Truck this year.

I think this was a fine kick off to a great car show season. Hope to see everyone again next month.
Our record has remained perfect. We have never had rain in the 33 years of Auburn Cruise Nite. But it was very close this month. And a week later we are going into a 7 day heat wave of 100 plus degrees. Guess we can all be thankful for the cool evening last week.
It was Kool with a K when the dragsters fired off. There is nothing like sound they make. Hope you were able to hear them. We try to have them every year. So if you missed them, they will be back.
We had a bit of a mix up taking pictures of the winners for June. No one wrote down their names or the class they won. If I get this information, I’ll make sure I post it here.
But here are the pictures of the winners and their very Kool cars.
Hope to see you next month.
On June 9th the Nostalgia Dragsters will be on the street and they will be firing them off around 6 and again at 8.
Also, the Doug Davies Ensemble from the Auburn Winds will be playing on the Promenade porch.
I saw these great photos by Jason Pierce Photography and wanted to share them with you.
