Wow, did we have a great turn out or what. The weather was nice even though it was a bit breezy. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. We decided to eliminate the Best Modified-Stock category and add Best Truck this year.
We would like to thank Jim Hadley from the Townsmen Car Club for presenting the awards.

I think this was a fine kick off to a great car show season. Hope to see everyone again next month.
Our record has remained perfect. We have never had rain in the 33 years of Auburn Cruise Nite. But it was very close this month. And a week later we are going into a 7 day heat wave of 100 plus degrees. Guess we can all be thankful for the cool evening last week.
It was Kool with a K when the dragsters fired off. There is nothing like sound they make. Hope you were able to hear them. We try to have them every year. So if you missed them, they will be back.
We had a bit of a mix up taking pictures of the winners for June. No one wrote down their names or the class they won. If I get this information, I’ll make sure I post it here.
But here are the pictures of the winners and their very Kool cars.
Hope to see you next month.
On June 9th the Nostalgia Dragsters will be on the street and they will be firing them off around 6 and again at 8.
Also, the Doug Davies Ensemble from the Auburn Winds will be playing on the Promenade porch.
I saw these great photos by Jason Pierce Photography and wanted to share them with you.

We had a full house in spite of the cold weather. It wasn’t raining so everyone was happy. The Townsmen Car Club helped us this month with Jim Hadley presenting the trophies and Cheryl Chatfield taking their pictures.

We were entertained by the Auburn Winds. It is so nice to have live music. If you missed the May event, please come next month. There is always good food and cool cars. Here are a few more pictures and a big thank you to Jason Pierce for taking them this year. Check out his work at jasonpierce.photography

I also want to thank all our volunteers. They are a special group of car enthusiasts. It takes no less than 30 people every night to put on this wonderful event. We are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested, please contact Bob Kennedy at email@example.com
A special thank you to Don Nunley who was our presenter this month.

Have a good winter. Get those cars ready and we will see you next May.
Hope everyone enjoyed the evening and it wasn’t too hot. This is the first time in 5 years that Bob, our leader, wasn’t able to make it. Out of town commitment came first. (Actually it was a car event that is held every 5 years).
Special thanks to The Thunderbolts for volunteering to help.
